NYIT 2012 Convocation
New York Institute of Technology President Edward Guiliano, Ph.D., urged faculty and staff at the university's annual Convocation to embrace collaboration and "raise your level of engagement with students."
Guiliano also announced the establishment of a new Presidential Endowed Professorship, funded with a $1M gift. The endowed chair recipient will be selected among untenured faculty who teach or research English, computer science, psychology, mathematics, physics or biology.
