An Art Competition for New York Institute of Technology Students
The Energy and Technology Art Show is an exhibition that challenges NYIT students to visually represent the issue of sustainability and the need for creating alternative energy sources.
Selected artworks will be on display in conjunction with the Offshore Energy Conference, June 2, 2011, in NYIT de Seversky Mansion. Artwork will be selected by a jury of professional artists and faculty.
This year’s conference addresses offshore energy technologies, such as wind turbines, current turbines and underwater electrical transmission lines that are situated in water bodies as opposed to on land. It is particularly focused on ocean technologies that are applicable to the Long Island region.
