Competition Objective

To design a pavilion on the deck of the U.S.S. Intrepid to shelter aircraft restoration personnel. The design should be architecturally significant and be able to supply power to the restoration crew via renewable energy systems. The energy systems should be able to provide year-round comfort (60°F/70°F) to the restoration crew and power for various tools and machine equipment. Wind and solar systems are encouraged. Student teams will have access to the facility and with appropriate personnel over the semester.
