Emerging online collaboration is changing the way the NYIT community communicates, learns, teaches, and presents itself to the world at large. Those participating in social media functions within the www.nyit.edu domain or representing NYIT on external social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter, are expected to follow certain guidelines. Failure to do so could limit the ability to participate in NYIT’s official social media. These guidelines will continually evolve as new technologies and social networking tools emerge—so check back regularly to make sure you're up to date on the latest policies.
