The following applies for all NYIT students using the Photo and Video Upload to the NYIT Web site.

Important Note

Be mindful of what you upload. NYIT students are welcome to use these uploads to celebrate their successes, chronicle their sorrows, and share their gripes and dreams. We hope you get a kick out of it! However, profane, defamatory, or illegal content will not be tolerated. Remember that your name will be associated with whatever you upload.

Editorial Approval

All photos and videos will be reviewed by NYIT staff before going live on the Web site. We thank you for your patience in our effort to maintain the standards of the NYT community. If you have any questions, please contact the Office of Communications and Marketing at updates@nyit.edu.

Policies

All content uploaded must conform with the NYIT Code of Responsible Computer Usage and the Terms of Service of the NYIT Web site

Only upload videos or photos that you created entirely yourself. Do not upload any TV shows, YouTube videos, music videos, movies, student videos, or commercials without permission unless they consist entirely of content you created yourself. NYIT respects copyright.

NYIT reserves the right to edit or remove content for any other reason.

Violations

If you believe any content on the Web site is in violation of these policies, please provide evidence to the Office of Communications and Marketing at updates@nyit.edu, and NYIT will review and may remove the content in question.
