NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine Hooding Ceremony

The NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine's Hooding Ceremony will take place on Monday, May 18, 2015 at the LIU Tilles Center for the Performing Arts from 10 a.m. to noon. 

Graduate and Guest Hooders
All graduates and, if applicable, your Guest Hooders must both assemble at 8 a.m. at Tilles Center. Upon arrival, please proceed to the Hillwood Auditorium where staff will direct you.

Tickets
Each graduate is allotted six (6) tickets, including Guest Hooders. A ticket must be presented to gain admittance to Tilles Center. The graduate does not require a ticket. Children under the age of two may be seated on an adult lap, therefore no ticket is required. If you have extra tickets, you may give them to fellow students. 

General Seating
Doors open to guests at 9:15 a.m. Ushers will seat “ticket-holding guests” in Tilles Center on first-come, first served basis. Guests are not permitted backstage, on stage or standing in the aisles at any time/ for any reason, during the processional and ceremony.

Handicap Seating
Tilles Center has ample seating available for patrons in wheelchairs. 
 
Concert theatre restrictions
Balloons, strollers, food and drinks are prohibited in the theater. 

Brunch
There will be a complimentary brunch immediately following the hooding at the Crest Hollow Country Club from 1 to 3 p.m. Event wristbands are required for each graduate and guest to gain admittance to the brunch.  Seven (7) Brunch Wristbands (one Graduate band/ six Guest bands) are issued to each Graduate for admittance to the Crest Hollow Country Club.
