Attending Online Courses
How Do I Attend Online Courses?
The graduate credit components of the Clinical Nutrition courses require use of Blackboard for accessing the course materials and submission of assignments. To use online services you will need your NYIT student ID.
- You can find instructions on establishing your NYITConnect username and password at the NYIT webportal: myNYIT
- You may change/reset your individual password once you access the system with your student ID.
- Learn how to log in to Blackboard
- If you have difficulty logging into the system or need other technical support please contact the NYIT Helpdesk.
Important: If you login to your course even a single time, you have officially "attended the class." If you decide to drop the course, the amount of tuition refunded is tied to whether or not you have attended. Therefore, if you are uncertain about taking a course after you have registered for it, please contact your advisor by phone or e-mail to discuss the matter.
