International Film Symposium Submission Requirements

The Film Symposium component of the event will feature panels in which presentations are delivered by scholars interested in film on topics related to the theme of the Film Festival, "Longing and Inhibition in Film." Panels will be organized according to subthemes after submissions have been reviewed. We are currently accepting 500-word or less abstracts for paper and PowerPoint presentations.

Abstracts, required in Word, WordPerfect, or RTF format, should be submitted to the Symposium Chair. The following information is required as presented below:

The following should be included in the subject heading of the email submission to the chair:
NYIT-NUPT FF Submission.

The current deadline for abstract submissions is March 1, 2012.
Abstracts longer than 500 words will not be considered.

A registration fee of $45 is required for all non-keynote speakers invited to attend the event after the review of submissions has been completed.
