We and our partner, Communication University of China (CUC), currently offer five undergraduate and three graduate degree programs. Students can earn two degrees simultaneously from both NYIT and the Faculty of International Media of CUC (ICUC). In Beijing, they are taught by NYIT and CUC faculty members, and all have the option of completing their studies in New York, where they have opportunities for U.S. internships and optional practical training.
In 2012, Communication University of China, China's most respected university in communications and media, approached us about developing a relationship to benefit students and faculty. From this start, NYIT and CUC became the two founding members of China's first media-centered China-foreign cooperatively run institution, with official approval granted by China's Ministry of Education. This institution is known formally as the Faculty of International Media of CUC, or ICUC.
