Students and staff at NYIT’s Nanjing Campus and its partner, Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications (NUPT), are invited to participate in the visit of U.S. musicians the Campbell Brothers (pictured above) this week, together with folklorists Sandra Kennedy, Josh Kohn, and Nick Spitzer.
The Campbell Brothers will play a concert Thursday evening, 15 May, while Kennedy will deliver lectures on May 15-16 about well-known scholars of the U.S. Southeast. These events are the last in the series known as “Cultures of the American Gulf Coast: Work and Play in Story and Song, from Louisiana to Florida,” hosted by the NYIT Center for Humanities and Culture at NUPT.
