About NYIT’s Campus in Nanjing, China

In the fall of 2007, NYIT opened its American-style Nanjing campus in collaboration with Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications (NUPT). Four academic undergraduate degree programs are held in a state-of-the-art facility: business administration, communication arts, electrical and computer engineering, and computer science. NYIT-Nanjing students have access to NUPT residence halls, dining facilities, and activities.

All programs are taught in English by NYIT professors; the curriculum mirrors that of NYIT's programs in the United States.

NYIT-Nanjing Milestones

October 2007: NYIT establishes NYIT-Nanjing, the first American undergraduate campus in China with a special address by NYIT President Edward Guiliano.

September 2008: The first group of NYIT-Nanjing students travel to New York as part of NYIT's global exchange program.

October 2008: President Guiliano opens the 2008-2009 academic year in Nanjing.

April 2009: NYIT celebrates 10 years of offering academic programs in China (in 1999, NYIT began offering an M.B.A. program in conjunction with Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics).

September 2009: NYIT-Manhattan hosts the first NUPT study group of NUPT professors--the first collaborative training, networking, and cultural exchange of its kind.
