During your senior year (96 credits or more), focus on your career preparation and job search via:

Office of Career Services Resources

• Submit your resume for review and post the approved resume on the NYIT Online Job Bank.
• Visit this site often to find out about on- and office-campus events and to research potential employers.
• Register for on-campus interviews.
• View job search and interviewing videos in the Career Services office.
• Make an appointment for a mock interview session.
• Register for the Career Success Seminar to develop the skills to manage your career.

Academic Resources

• Ask faculty and administrators if you can use them as references before giving their names to potential employwers. Give them an up-to-date resume.
• Network with NYIT faculty, alumni, and peers to make contacts with potential employers.

Extracurricular Activities

• Plan your job or graduate school campaign. Develop a timetable for your job search  and career development.
• Take inventory of  skills you've developed.
  
• Prepare yourself for tought interviews: Be able to describe everything about yourself and know the right questions to ask potential employers.
