On Thursday, April 10th in the 11th floor auditorium of 16 West 61st Street in Manhattan, over 40 NYIT students, faculty and staff gathered to hear about this year’s Alternative Spring Break program in Ecuador. Guests watched a photo slideshow and learned how the student participants’ applied their NYIT learning to solving public problems through a panel moderated by Olena Zhadko, Manager of Course Development in the Center for Teaching and Learning. The audience also enjoyed hearing funny stories from the participants and how this meaningful experience has changed their lives for the better.
