Renee Mullen Marcus (B.S. ’95, M.B.A. ’01)

Position: Designer and project manager for the financial company Bloomberg LP. She coordinates the overall design look for its worldwide offices and hires project architects and contractors for each location.

Claims to Fame: “My current project involves coordinating all work for the new Bloomberg Television and Radio broadcast facilities in New York.”

Honors: “My most recent project in Sao Paulo was published in a Brazilian design book.”

Favorite NYIT Memory: “Building my final project in Design Fundamentals II out on the lawn in front of Education Hall. It was a beautiful sunny day, and the teamwork from the class was inspiring.”

NYIT’s Impact: “I gained a great deal of knowledge at NYIT in the architecture program as well as the M.B.A. program. The combination of the two helped me develop into a well-rounded professional.”

Best Career Move: “Accepting the position at Bloomberg LP. It has given me the opportunity to work with people throughout the United States and in several countries, and enabled me to observe numerous architectural styles, methods of construction and customs.”
