Curriculum

Global Master of Business Administration (Global MBA) Curricular Requirements*:

The General Global MBA program may be completed in as few as thirty (30) credit hours.  The program consists of the waivable program core, the non-waivable program core, and either elective or concentration courses.

Waivable Program Core (Prerequisite Courses): All students must complete this eighteen (18) credit hour core requirement. Courses may be waived in those instances where the undergraduate experience includes course equivalencies. Courses in this core are offered to Global MBA students in an accelerated format. All courses are 1.5 credit hours (ELH) unless specified otherwise.

The non-waivable core is an integrated educational experience where courses are delivered in modules and are highly interdisciplinary. Modules in this core may not be waived, nor can credit hours be transferred into the Division of Business as substitutes for these modules. The core must be completed, in its entirety, in the Division of Business.

This core also includes the mandatory completion of the two zero-credit requirements: Global BUSI600 ETS Major Field Examination and Global BUSI610 Professional Development Seminar. The latter serves as a mandatory component integrating the Division's Professional Enrichment Program into the Global MBA experience. All modules are 1.5 credit hours (ELH) unless specified otherwise.
