How to Get an Internship: Orientation I
College life is about more than books and classrooms. You can learn from every experience, and we encourage you to take advantage of all that NYIT has to offer.
The Office of Campus Life—located on the second floor of the Student Activity Center—is committed to fostering community by encouraging student involvement in activities both on and off campus. Campus life fosters student development by identifying and nurturing leadership skills through student clubs and organizations as well as campus-wide programming. Students are exposed to activities in the areas of politics, philanthropy, social awareness, culture, career development, religion, and health and wellness.
In addition to making lifelong friendships, you’ll develop many of the skills you’ll need to impress future employers, including how to manage your time, communicate, and get organized.
Ask yourself, are you a future leader? Start proving you have the right stuff. Get involved today!
