Sending your son or daughter off to college can be a stressful experience for both you and him/her! Counseling and Wellness would like to provide you with several things to watch out for to make sure this is a healthy transition.
Some problems during this time include homesickness, anxiety, over/under eating and sleeping, substance use, problems with time management, increasing sadness and crying, and social issues such as problems making new friends, loneliness, or dating issues.
