Elections? Student Government? Student Leadership?

 

Do you have what it takes? NYIT encourages all qualified students who want to learn organizational skills, test their abilities, and help better the entire NYIT community to run for office. Student Government Association elections are held every spring.

Student representatives are elected to an executive board consisting of a president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer, as well as a legislative senate with twelve seats.

Students interested in running must meet all the eligibility requirements and submit a Declaration of Candidacy Form to the director of student activities. Before applying, review the rules and important dates regarding the election.
