NYIT-Amman has two strategic locations: The undergraduate campus is on Amman's Airport Road, also known as the "road of universities," near other major colleges and universities and approximately 15 miles from Amman. The graduate campus is centrally located in Jordan's main business district, giving students direct access to real-world companies and top employers. Each campus offers a lively student life, modern research and classroom facilities, and a variety of dining options.
Getting involved is a great way to make the best of your college experience. Whether you want to join a club focusing on an area in which you are already talented or want to try something new, becoming active is a great way to make friends and broaden your experiences. The Student Affairs Department is in charge of all on campus and off campus student life and activitiesfor more information, please contact:

NYIT’s Student Life Organization (SLO) is staffed by an elected board of student representatives who are tasked with promoting activities that enrich student life, including hosting charity drives, dramas, and campus-wide programs. Elections are held annually. The SLO publishes a quarterly magazine that invites entries—essays, art, and photography—from all interested students. For more information, call 0795388211.
New clubs are being established all the time. Here are descriptions of some of the clubs that NYIT students can join at the Jordan campus:
Clubs meet once every week, on Tuesdays from 6 – 7 p.m. For more information, call 0777672793.
Join one of NYIT’s sports teams—including soccer and basketball—to compete against athletes from all over Jordan. When the soccer field or basketball court isn’t being used by one of the teams, they are available for students who want to take a break from their studies. For more information, call 0795060909.
Students who have a musical talent will also find that a number of bands are available to join. For more information, call 0795388211.
