Welcome to the NYIT Dining Services Cooking Tip of the Month.
Here you will find great cooking tips straight from the NYIT chefs!
This cooking tip has been provided from Chef Brian Hoos
"Bottled dressings are a waste of money and calories. Make your own vinaigrette by whisking together three parts oil (olive, canola, or sesame) with one part vinegar (balsamic, red-wine, rice-wine or even Lemon Juice), plus salt and pepper. Build extra flavor by adding minced shallot, Dijon mustard, fresh herbs, garlic or honey."
Look out for the October Tip of the Month!
