Communication Arts continues to be a popular and fast growing field in China, and along with that an ever expanding population of young filmmakers. Your global correspondent attended the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce-sponsored “Green Tech Opportunities : China" breakfast this morning, and little surprise that the venue was standing room only. China is one of the few economies that continues a forward momentum at a time when the overall global economy looks pretty bleak. The event drew a packed crowd of business executives, entrepreneurs, and U.S. government officials who are eager to do business with China. Your global correspondent found out from Julie Fratrik, director of Global Academic Exchange, that eight NYIT students are headed to continue their studies at our Nanjing campus this fall. Very exciting! Last year NYIT student Junior Lubin braved the exchange trail was the pioneer and the first NYIT student from New York to spend his fall semester in Nanjing.
