(Nov. 26, 2007) -NYIT freshman Lauren Caggiano has been named the East Coast Conference Rookie of the Week. Caggiano recorded her first career double-double as she led the Bears to an 71-61 victory over Post University last Tuesday with career-highs of 15 points and 18 rebounds. Caggiano, who added four steals in the win, shot 7-17 from the floor and grabbed seven offensive rebounds.
