Manchester, NH (Oct. 24, 2009) - The NYIT women's volleyball team split their two games at the Southern New Hampshire tri-match this afternoon, defeating the hosts 3-1 before losing to Stonehill 2-3.

Against the SNHU, the set scores were 25-23, 14-25, 25-21, and 25-18. Senior Shelby Klein (Orange, Cal.) led the way for NYIT with 12 kills. Sophomore Emily Syers (East Meadow, N.Y.) dished out 36 assists and sophomore Lisa Peacock (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) picked up a team-high 15 digs.
