Brookville, N.Y., May 8, 2008 - The No.3 Adelphi Panthers came back from a 9-3 deficit to defeat No. 7 NYIT by a final score of 13-10, in NCAA Northeast Regional Action on Thursday morning. NYIT finishes its most successful season in the programs history with a record of 29-18. This season the Bears earned their first-ever appearance in the NCAA Northeast Regional and the 29 victories set a new record for wins in a season, eclipsing the previous record of 27 wins.

Junior Lauren Sabia (Tuscon, AZ) paced the Bears offense going 3-for-4 with three runs scored and four RBI, including a grand slam...Details
