Does NYIT have an early admission or early decision policy?

NYIT subscribes to an Early Action admissions program. If you submit a completed application by Dec. 1, you will be notified of an admissions decision by Dec. 31. One advantage of Early Action is being first in line for scholarships and need-based financial aid. Since it is a non-binding program, there is no reason to delay-apply today! If you do not wish to be considered for Early Action, the admissions committee will review your application on a rolling basis. Generally, a decision will be made approximately two to three weeks from the time your completed application is received. Learn more about applying to NYIT through our website.

NYIT accepts the College Board and NACAC fee waivers. If you need more information about fee waivers or to arrange a campus tour, please call the Office of Admissions at 800.345.NYIT(6948) or 516.686.2870 or by email at admissions@nyit.edu.
