NYIT provides residential halls at both our Old Westbury and Manhattan campuses. Full-time undergraduate and graduate students are eligible for housing.
Old Westbury: Students who plan to take courses at the Old Westbury campus are encouraged and invited to live in the residence halls. All accommodations are suite style. A typical suite has two single rooms, two double rooms, a shared bathroom, and a small common area. Throughout the campus there are suites designated for graduate students. For more information, visit NYIT's Office of Housing and Residential Life.
Manhattan: For students planning to attend classes in Manhattan, NYIT offers two full-service residence halls. One is located on the Upper West Side, just a quick subway, bus, or bicycle ride from the Manhattan campus. The Riverside Terrace Residence Hall, at 350 W. 88th St., offers single and double rooms in a facility supervised by the full-time, professionally trained staff of the Office of Residential Services, as well as resident advisors and peer mentors. The Riverside can provide a total residential college experience as enjoyable and exciting as New York City itself. The second is Clark Residence at 55 Clark St., Brooklyn Heights. more information, visit NYIT's Office of Housing and Residential Life.
A 24-hour security staff ensures the safety of all residents. In addition, residence halls are locked and monitored in the evening, requiring visitors to show identification and indicate which student they are visiting.
