NYIT at the 2012 SaloneSatellite
Students, faculty, and alumni from the School of Architecture and Design represented NYIT at the SaloneSatellite exhibition at the Milan Furniture Fair, April 17-22 in Italy. SaloneSatellite is the premier event for emerging designers from around the world to show their work at the largest international furniture trade fair of its kind. The NYIT exhibition booth displayed a student designed chaise lounge, a desk, a multi-screen video display featuring the school's achievements, and a special giveaway for fairgoers—graffiti-inspired bicycle reflectors. Students delivered their messages to the global design community with 10,000 bicycle reflectors cut from graffiti panels created in February on NYIT's New York campuses. Use the resources on this page to learn more about their work.
