Students, faculty, and alumni from the School of Architecture and Design are representing NYIT in the SaloneSatellite exhibition, April 17-22 in Milan, Italy. SaloneSatellite is the premier event for emerging designers from around the world to show their work at the Milan Furniture Fair, the largest international design fair. The NYIT exhibition booth displays a desk and chaise lounge (pictured as a simulation in the High Line park in New York City), a multi-screen video display featuring the school's achievements, and a special giveaway for fairgoers—graffiti-inspired bicycle reflectors. Follow the progress of our NYIT team by reading updates from Milan. Traveling to the exhibit are School of Architecture and Design Dean Judith DiMaio; Associate Dean Frank Mruk; Interior Design Chairperson Martha Siegel; Associate Professor Robert Allen; Assistant Professor Charles Matz; students Barbara Schoenenberger, Melanie Li Foo Wing, Liz Cuadrado, and Ashley Sarazen; alumni Adam LoPorto and Robert Gardocki; and Assistant Lisa Mahoney.
