New York Eleven is a collaboration of 12 prestigious New York state educational institutions offering four-year programs or more in interior design. Each year, they showcase the projects and accomplishments of their students. This year's showcase is "Interior Design: Raising the Bar." Interior design students selected to represent NYIT in this year's exhibit in Albany and Manhattan are Dawn Bunyon, Meagen Carcano, Nicole DeVito, and Nicole Puma. The work chosen for the exhibit was completed in their third-year studio course, the Home Modifications Project, a collaboration between interior design and occupational therapy students. The result of this collaboration is a home modification specifically designed for a special-needs individual and his/her family.
