Design V Studio Collaborates with Univerisad de Chile

From Sept. 4 to Oct. 2, 2009, Associate Dean Frank Mruk and Professor Andrew Heid took a Design 5 Studio to Santiago Chile for a joint workshop with the Universidad de Chile. Students Tony Grullon, Tricia Bacchus, Candace Maloney, John Guiza, Nickolas Batis, James Yankopoulos, Michael Pryor, Philoppe Kallagov, Leisdania Reynoso, Brook Stevenson, Bartosz Winsko and Marcello Pacheco joined over 20 Chilean students and the United Nation's "Comision Economica para America y el Caribe" (CEPAL) to collaborate on a project in Valparaiso, Chile. The collaboration will continue next semester when the Univerisad de Chile students come to NYIT.
