Adjunct Professor of Architecture William Rockwell has collaborated with the artist David Brooks on the first installation of his project, Desert Rooftops, on view until Feb. 5 at The Last Lot project space on 46th Street and 8th Avenue in New York City. Rockwell's firm William/Architect consulted on the project presented by the Art Production Fund. The installation features a 5,000-square-foot sculpture of conjoined asphalt-shingled rooftops meant to spark conversation about the consequences of unchecked urban sprawl.
