What Happens When We Die? A Buddhist Perspective

Wednesday May 22, 2013 at 7 p.m.

Cost: $25

Renowned Buddhist author and teacher Lama Ole Nydahl will share teachings from his new book: Fearless Death: Buddhist Wisdom on the Art of Dying.  Drawing on the rich, detailed teachings of Tibetan Buddhism, he’ll address tough questions like: what exactly happens when we die?  Is there a part of us that doesn’t die?  How can we transform our fears of death into confidence?  How can we help others who are facing death?

He will also introduce meditations suitable for everyone, from beginner to advanced students, that help us tap into our inherent joyfulness and live richer, freer lives.  His talk will be followed by an opportunity for individual questions.

Originally from Denmark, Lama Ole Nydahl is a fully authorized Tibetan Lama, known for making Eastern teachings accessible to people in the West.  He is the inspiration behind over 600 Diamond Way Buddhist Centers worldwide and the author of nine books on Buddhism’s relevance to the challenges of our modern lifestyles.
