Graduation Requirements
To graduate, you must:
- Fulfill all requirements for your degree
- Meet the minimum cumulative GPA required for your program
- Complete your final 30 credits at NYIT
- Apply for graduation online via NYITConnect
- Comply with application deadlines listed on the academic calendar
Degrees with Distinction
The following distinctions are noted on students’ diplomas and transcripts if the minimum GPA requirements are met:
- Summa cum laude: at least 3.7
- Magna cum laude: at least 3.5
- Cum laude: at least 3.2
