This calculator estimates what your cumulative GPA might be if you get the grades you want this semester. You'll enter your current GPA information, and enter in the classes you are taking now and what grades you expect. The calculator will then predict what your new GPA could be. It's a  helpful tool for determining the grades you need to raise your cumulative GPA.

Please note that this is a PREDICTIVE tool. The GPA calculator will calculate the EXPECTED cumulative GPA based on the information you enter. Follow the instructions carefully in order to get the most accurate result.

Instructions:

1. Go to your NYIT Connect Student Menu.
2. Select Academic History to see your Total Attempted Credits and Total Grade Points.
3. In the calculator below, enter the Total Attempted Credits and Total Grade Points into the table below in the Actual row.
   Note: If you enter zeros in the Actual row, you can calculate your expected semester GPA.
4. Enter the courses and expected grades for the courses you are taking or planning to take.
5. If you are repeating a course, include the original grade received for this course in the appropriate column.
6. Hit the GET GPA button to view your actual and expected GPA.
