It's NYIT's mandate is to be a leader in the application of technology in our laboratories, facilities, and classrooms. The Office of Information Technology and Infrastructure provides leadership and innovation in information technology and infrastructure planning, as well as support services to all of its community members.

IT works closely with NYIT’s Center for Teaching and Learning, Technology Based Learning Systems, and other units to support and promote the effective use of technology in the 21st century. In addition, the Office monitors and continuously updates its emergency protocols to ensure the safety and security of all community members and guests.
