  • Amtrak: Students can get 15 percent off Amtrak rides in certain regions of the United States.
  • Car Insurance: Nationwide, Allstate, Farmers, Progressive, and Geico all offer student discounts. Check their websites or contact your local agent for more details.
  • Cell Phone Service: Verizon and AT&T offer student discounts. Enter your New York Tech email address to see if you qualify.
  • Budget Truck Rental: Up to 20 percent off moving truck rentals. Use discount code TRUKU.
  • NJ Transit: All full-time college students can save 25 percent on monthly passes! Get your discounted monthly mobile pass online using the NJ Transit mobile app, which allows you to buy and display your student pass securely from your mobile device. You must use your student email address (@nyit.edu) to enroll and create your account.
