This award recognizes an NYIT faculty or staff member who has increased the engagement of students in NYIT interdisciplinary courses, developed cross-disciplinary courses or projects with faculty from other schools/departments, or expanded engagement of students in cross-disciplinary activities. The narrative should include:
- A description of what was done and why.
- An explanation of how initiatives increased the number of students engaged in cross-disciplinary activities.
Entries will be judged according to:
- Innovative nature of the initiative.
- Documentation of increases in student learning as a result of engagement strategies.
