Student and employee vehicles must have valid NYIT stickers on them to park at the Old Westbury campus or Central Islip site. (No parking is provided at the Manhattan campus.) Parking permits are available from the Office of Campus Security, and permits must be displayed prominently on the vehicle. Applicants must bring proof of state registration to the Office of Campus Security to obtain a parking permit. There is no fee for parking permits.
Drivers are responsible for observing all NYIT traffic rules and regulations. The Office of Campus Security enforces NYIT parking and traffic regulations.

Vehicle Summons
NYIT security personnel issue summonses for infractions of traffic and parking regulations. Students who wish to challenge a summons for a first offense may do so by submitting an appeal.
