Emergency Response
The Office of Campus Security will coordinate a response to all emergencies, including fire, accident/illness, crime, hazardous spills/gas leaks, and bomb threats. All incidents and/or accidents on NYIT campuses involving actual or potential danger to life or property should be communicated immediately to security. Emergency calls to security can be made from any office telephone on campus and from the emergency call phones (blue-light phones) located throughout the campuses. Make sure to tell the dispatcher your name, location, and nature of emergency.
