NYIT, IBM To Host One of China's Highest Net Worth Individuals


 

Wang Wenjing, CEO and founder of China's largest software company, to offer business and personal insights:
"An Entrepreneur's Strategies for Thriving in Turbulent Times"

 

WHO: NYIT and IBM Co-Host Lecture Featuring Wang Wenjing, known as "China's Bill Gates"

WHEN: Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009, 6:30 - 8 p.m.

WHERE: NYIT Auditorium on Broadway (1871 Broadway, between 61st and 62nd Streets)

WHY: NYIT and IBM will co-host a lecture by Wang Wenjing, founder and chief executive of UFIDA, China's largest software company. Wang, often called "China's Bill Gates," will share his personal story of rising from poverty to becoming one of China's richest individuals as he discusses "An Entrepreneur's Strategies for Thriving in Turbulent Times." The 45-year-old software entrepreneur has an estimated worth of $555 million (U.S.), Wang was listed no. 85 on Forbes' October 2008 list of "The 400 Richest Chinese."
