NYIT Opens Downtown Park, Aimed at Reducing Traffic Accidents

Amman,  Jordan. (June 29, 2009)-- President Edward Guiliano inaugurated the NYIT Park in downtown Amman,. The 600-square-meter public area will provide a safe recreational environment for children and teach them about the importance of traffic awareness. NYIT renovated the park with new trees and ornamental plants, as well as entertainment and service facilities to attract children and parents alike.

Dr. Guiliano said that “The inauguration of the park reflects the university’s policies and its vision of providing local communities with services by participating in constructive projects and national initiatives.”

NYIT thanks the Greater Amman Municipality and Hikmat Road Safety for their co-operation on this project.
