Why did you decide to join NYIT?
NYIT appealed to me as a rapidly growing global private institute of college education along with its convenient locations.
What do you do at NYIT?
I am working as a tenured associate professor of Mathematics at the Old Westbury campus.
Why do you like working here?
Teaching math brings fresh challenging experiences with every class, where I get to teach students of diverse cultural backgrounds. I also am able to pursue research interests, enjoy the supportive work environment my colleagues provide, and mingle with local mathematics researchers.
What has been your favorite experience at NYIT so far?
One favorite experience of mine is to mentor students for our NYIT Symposium on University Research and Creative Expression, or SOURCE.
What is your favorite perk/benefit about working at NYIT?
My favorite perks are a good working environment, flexible teaching schedule, and the retirement and health benefits.
