The
Long Island Rail Road operates out of Penn Station in Manhattan and
Jamaica Station in Queens. Take a train from either location (ask
station personnel or visit
LIRR Web site
for fare and schedule information) to Central Islip and take a taxi
or walk west on Suffolk Avenue, then south on Carleton Avenue to campus
(approximately one mile). From other Long Island locations, you will
probably have to transfer at Jamaica to reach Central Islip; see the
